WOOLER TIMECARD
ENDURO 2026
5–6 SEPTEMBER • WOOLER • NORTHUMBERLAND
Rounds 9 & 10 of the 2026 SACU Scottish Enduro Championship. BRAAP covered the weekend to show more than just the racing — the riders, organisers and character that keep traditional Time Card Enduro going.
WHY WOOLER MATTERS
Wooler is part of the Scottish Championship despite being held just south of the border. For BRAAP, the weekend was a chance to document the people behind traditional Enduro as well as the action on the tests. Saturday was dry and hot; Sunday brought heavy rain, giving two very different days of riding and filming.
THE ORGANISERS
BRAAP spoke with Gavin and his son about classic Enduro, putting the event together and why the traditional format still matters.
THE RIDERS
The film uses rider interviews rather than relying only on race footage, including perspectives on why people travel, return and keep riding Enduro.
THE FORMAT
Time Card Enduro combines a full day on the bike with timed special tests and time controls. The event rewards consistency, preparation and endurance as much as outright speed.

Wooler: two different days of Time Card Enduro
Wooler hosted a two-day Scottish Enduro Championship weekend on 5–6 September 2026. Although the event took place in Northumberland, south of the Scottish border, it formed part of the championship. The weather created a contrast between the two days: Saturday was dry and hot, while heavy rain arrived on Sunday. BRAAP's coverage records the changing conditions alongside the racing and the people who made the weekend happen.
The people behind traditional enduro
The film includes conversations with Gavin and his son about classic Enduro, organising events and why the traditional format matters. Rider interviews add the view from those who take part, rather than presenting Wooler as race footage alone. It is also a record of how the event was organised and experienced in 2026.
How the Time Card format works
Time Card Enduro involves completing a route with scheduled time controls and timed special tests. It asks riders to manage the whole day, not just go flat-out on a short circuit. That combination of timing, preparation and endurance helps explain the appeal of events such as Wooler. For a closer look, visit BRAAP's Time Card Enduro guide.
The 2026 event remains available in the Scottish Enduro 2026 archive, alongside other films and event coverage from the season.
