What is Tain Motocross Track like?
Tain is one of Scotland's best-known sand motocross venues. The circuit sits near Tain and Fearn in Easter Ross and is known for its deep, soft sand, which can become rough and physically demanding as riding develops through the day.
The track has been used for Scottish Motocross Championship rounds and is well known as a winter training venue. Local venue information also lists a separate junior track for younger or learner riders.
Sand motocross track
Tain is a genuine sand circuit rather than a hard-pack track. That makes it useful for sand-riding practice and winter training, but it can also become heavily rutted and demanding during busy race or practice days.
Finding Tain Motocross Track
