BRAAP SCOTLAND FILM • TIME CARD ENDURO
Drumtochty has a reputation for being brutal — and riders still keep coming back. This film follows the final Scottish Time Card Enduro weekend of 2026 from the build-up and changing conditions through crashes, onboard footage and the atmosphere that makes the event what it is.
BRUTAL — BUT THEY LOVE IT
The word “brutal” came up repeatedly around Drumtochty, usually followed by riders saying how much they loved it. That contrast became the centre of the film: why keep returning to something that is difficult, exhausting and capable of catching you out at any moment?
Rather than building a conventional highlights edit, BRAAP followed the weekend as an experience — preparation, course conditions, the hard sections, the weather turning and the small moments that explain why Time Card Enduro still has such a pull.
THE FILM
MORE THAN RACE HIGHLIGHTS
The cameras were spread around the course to mix long-lens race action, drone footage, ground camera work and onboard GoPros. The aim was to show the scale of the event and the effort behind it rather than only the fastest riders and cleanest moments.
BEHIND THE FILM
Drumtochty was also a fairly typical BRAAP production day: remote camera positions, wet-weather protection, long walks with kit, moving between viewpoints and trying to keep enough batteries and lenses in the right place as the conditions changed.
These behind-the-scenes images show the other side of producing event coverage in the forest.
THE BUILD-UP
Early starts, campsite activity and course preparation before the first bikes disappear into the forest.
THE PUNISHMENT
Crashes, mud, changing weather and the physical effort that gives Drumtochty its reputation.
THE REWARD
The satisfaction of finishing, improving and sharing the weekend with the Scottish Enduro community.
SUPPORT
Event video production: supported by the Scottish Auto Cycle Union (SACU) and Bon Accord Motor Cycle Club.
